Case Study

Elekta sign solutions

Background

CBRE the facilities management company for Elekta contacted us to discuss how signage could be used to help manage their employees returning to the office safely following the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Challenge

The Cornerstone site of Elekta covers an area of 150,000 square feet with over 750 employees.
The challenge they faced was to make sure they had clear concise instructions in place that gave the correct information to comply with government guidelines.

CBRE recognised that the key to a new efficient and safe working environment could be managed through their signage. They needed a quick turnaround to ensure they were ready when visitors and staff returned to the site.

The Solution

FASTSIGNS Crawley were delighted to help, we consulted with CBRE and Elekta closely to ascertain exactly what they needed to ensure a clear message could be maintained throughout this vast site.

Their requirements included floor graphics for social distancing, queues, one way systems and no entry points. Lift stickers saying where to stand with instructions, roller banners and floor tape. Area’s to add additional germ prevention information and hand washing were also highlighted. Our designer also used Elektas branding and colour palette for their project as we felt it was important to maintain their own identity within the generic messages that were being put out.

FASTSIGNS advised on products that were hard wearing and functional, also providing Elekta with
the information needed to install some of items in house enabling the amount of visitors to the site to be kept to a minimum.

The Results

CBRE and Elekta were delighted with not only the products but with the wealth of knowledge and experience that FASTSIGNS brought to this project. The site reopened and was able to mitigate the risk to employees and visitors through the thorough clear visual communication they had put into place. Elekta and CBRE both commented on the fantastic level of service they received and how important it is to them to support local companies.
