Case Study - Nitehawk Pediatric Urgent Care

The Opportunity

NiteHawk Pediatric Urgent Care opened its flagship facility in Wylie, Texas. The after-hours pediatric urgent care center provided the opportunity for FASTSIGNS® to create not only a one of a kind “wow” experience using signage and visual graphics, but also one that enhanced the patient care experience.

The Challenge

NiteHawk Pediatric Urgent Care wanted to create a facility that was more than just a building from a design standpoint that would include child-friendly interior décor in a calming environment. NiteHawk needed FASTSIGNS to provide branded signage and wanted a uniquely themed facility.

The Solution

Sarosh Nayar, owner of FASTSIGNS of Dallas-Northeast, consulted with NiteHawk’s CEO Keyur Sathe on signage and visual graphics to create the desired patient experience. FASTSIGNS presented an initial concept that included magnetic receptive wall graphics for eight patient care rooms and modular scenes that could change with every patient.

FASTSIGNS recommended wall murals using Visual Magnetics® for the animal themed patient rooms. Featuring fun, interactive décor that can be moved around on the walls, the magnetic receptive graphics were designed to be visually interesting for children. The images can be layered on the background wall scene and additional graphics can be layered on top. 

“We created different and attention-getting magnetic-receptive graphics and signage that adds value for our customer,” Nayar said. “The Visual Magnetics wall murals are comprised of cutouts of animals and other decorative elements that complement the signage we provided throughout the facility.”

In addition to the magnetic-receptive graphics, FASTSIGNS provided outdoor channel letters, window and door graphics, acrylic décor signs and ADA room identification signs.

FASTSIGNS provided a comprehensive solution to help NiteHawk with branding in a creative and engaging way.

“It’s a kid-focused facility; we’ve invested heavily in the physical space of our facility because we believe that is a very important component of the overall patient care experience,” NiteHawk’s Sathe said.

FASTSIGNS plans to work with NiteHawk to add an augmented reality component to the magnetic wall mural with a customized app that will make each room scene come to life.

The Result

FASTSIGNS provided creative branding for NiteHawk Pediatric Urgent Care that included exterior building signage, window graphics, interior décor and modular magnetic-receptive graphics that can easily be updated to enhance the patient experience.

NiteHawk’s Sathe said, “We want to grow our network of facilities and brand, and FASTSIGNS has provided us with all of the marketing touch points and tools to communicate and extend our brand in a very creative way.”
