FASTSIGNS® York has scooped two more national awards at the FASTSIGNS UK convention and awards ceremony – making it four in its short three-year history!
Each year, the global signage and visual communications specialist’s annual convention recognises the franchise network’s successes over the past 12 months. It brings the FASTSIGNS UK teams and suppliers together to help share industry knowledge, culminating in a grand gala dinner after the two-day convention.
Named runner-up in the Comprehensive Solutions of the Year category and winner, for the second year running, of the Customer Satisfaction Award, the FASTSIGNS® York Team received their awards at Staffordshire’s prestigious St George’s Park Hotel in late 2021.
The Comprehensive Solutions of the Year Award is given for demonstrating a full utilisation of the range of FASTSIGNS solutions, and using them to overcome customers’ complex communication challenges. The FASTSIGNS® York Team achieved runner-up status for its work with East Riding software company, qiiosk.
Amidst the pandemic in early 2021, qiiosk’s all-in-one software tool for contactless dining and hospitality experiences witnessed unprecedented demand - offering essentials for customers like booking tables, scheduling deliveries, food ordering and communicating orders between kitchen and front of house.
With new regulations afoot and hospitality demand skyrocketing due to the lifting of lockdown restrictions, qiiosk required a transition from temporary signage and posters to more robust solutions that would withstand challenging hospitality environments.
FASTSIGNS® York delivered brand new signage, labels and posters using materials that could be affixed to various materials including glass, metal and wood. Not only did the designs need to be durable and attractive, they also needed to have the all-important contact-free software, in the form of QR codes and NFC tags, displayed clearly.

100% Customer Satisfaction
The FASTSIGNS® York Team was also recognised for its commitment to high-quality customer service. On the night it was announced that they were one of five other teams in the country to receive a 100 per cent Net Promoter Score via customer engagement software, Listen 360, between September 2020 and 2021 – further reinforcing FASTSIGNS® York’s position as the highest-rated signage company in North and East Yorkshire, according to Google My Business.
