The Challenge:

Evergreen Funeral Services are a Hull and East Yorkshire-based funeral directors. They had two custom signs projects that needed to be completed, one for their Hull site and the other for their Hornsea site, which would ensure some fresh branding for the business to boost visibility and wayfinding. Here’s how our organised, friendly sign makers were able to fulfil Evergreen’s signage requirements:

The Solution:

Firstly, we were tasked with the customer’s office situated on Holderness Road in Hull, which required shopfront building signs to be created and installed. The signage project began with the precise production of trays, tailored specifically to the building’s dimensions for an optimal fit. Then, high-quality foamex lettering was meticulously bonded to these surfaces, ensuring a robust and clear display of the client’s business name on the building signs.

The company's tree logo and phone number were both brought to life through vinyl printing, before being applied onto the trays to meet Evergreen’s needs. This vinyl was further laminated by our sign makers, to enhance durability and to extend the lifespan of the building signs through harsh outdoor conditions. Our trustworthy installation team expertly fitted these panels for Evergreen Funeral Services, ensuring that every element of the business’ identity was prominently and accurately displayed, making their Hull site unmistakably easy to find through the custom building signs.

Another exciting project with Evergreen Funeral Services involved the creation of a custom post and panel sign, constructed from durable aluminium composite material (ACM), which was to be installed at their Hornsea site in East Yorkshire. To once again provide a lasting visual impact, our sign makers produced the company's name and details using a high-quality vinyl print, which was further laminated like the Hull project to maximise its long-term durability. This laminated vinyl was then applied to the ACM sign surface, which was adapted because of the substrate’s cost-effective but weather-resistant properties. ACM is also lightweight compared to other substrates such as aluminium, making this custom sign easier to transport and install. Our installation team strategically positioned the signage outside the company's Hornsea site, increasing visibility, wayfinding, and drawing attention to the business from potential customers.

Complementing this, our sign makers produced frosted vinyl window graphics to complete the full signage and visual solutions project. These window graphics serve a dual purpose, to display the Hornsea site name as well as enhance privacy and professionalism for the business' building, through the use of the frosted vinyl. The adaptation of the frosted vinyl is also cost-effective in comparison to other methods like sandblasted glass, which brings about a similar appearance but for a higher price. Easy installation and removal is another benefit of utilising frosted vinyl, again helping to reduce costs for the business if they decide to make any changes for example.

The Result:

Overall, these high-quality signage solutions significantly amplify the business’ presence in the wider East Yorkshire area, ensuring they not only stand out but also so they convey an inviting and polished image. In addition, the successful completion of this Hornsea project meant our sign makers had finished two separate custom signs jobs for Evergreen Funeral Services, all sorted in a time efficient manner for the Hull and East Yorkshire-based business.
