The Challenge:

Pickering Park Aviary, based in Pickering Park, Hull, is a popular zoo that hosts a range of bird, mammal and reptile species. As part of its large-scale refurbishment, the Aviary required the creation of various signs and visual solutions with appropriate branding and wayfinding included. This is where our FASTSIGNS® Hull team stepped in to help.

The Solution:

Our expert team worked closely with the Aviary to identify their specific requirements for this task. Upon agreeing project expectations and quote approval, we began to produce the various sign solutions: which consisted of interior and exterior signage as well as door graphics that would be visible across their site. All outdoor products were made using aluminium composite material (ACM), providing a lightweight but strong and weather resistant result, whilst all indoor signs were created through ‘Foamex,’ a PVC foam board solution that is very suitable because of its durability, adaptability and cost-effective properties.

After manufacturing, we delivered and installed the Aviary signs in the correct locations, ensuring for clear and effective wayfinding throughout the premises. This is represented in the door graphic above, allowing employees and visitors alike to have confidence in navigating the Aviary without any confusion.
