It’s July already?! Time really does fly. This month, we’ve decided to look back at some of our custom signs and visual solutions projects from the last few months. From mesh banners to wall murals, our FASTSIGNS Hull team have been as friendly and professional as ever, utilising our signage expertise to cater for all our client’s requirements to the highest quality standards. NHS Sherwood Forest Hospitals
The NHS Sherwood Forest Hospitals Trust required colourful wall graphics and daffodil-themed roundels to be installed in one of their centres. Our sign makers accomplished this project by printing all the designs onto vinyl and laminating them as per the customer specifications, before delivering and installing the visual solutions on site in the correct locations. The end products presented terrific results for the Trust, providing effective branding for their café and a clear, calm environment for visitors to enjoy. Hull City Council
The Hull City Council requested us to create this pull-up and retractable custom banner for their Community Hub walk-ins. After bringing the design to reality via inkjet printing, our efficient experts CAD cut the banner to ensure precision in trimming the visual solution to the correct size, also speeding up the process for project completion. Then, we inserted the banner sign into the cassette, allowing for a high-quality display and storage of the product so that it can be reused multiple times as needed by the customer. This task saw the Hull City Council receive a custom signage solution fit for their specific purpose, ultimately meeting their expectations for the desired result.
My Four Wheels
Driving school My Four Wheels needed a vinyl vehicle wrap to be applied to one of their company cars, to successfully brand it in their business theme. We fulfilled this project to a high-quality level by applying the custom car vinyl onto the cleaned vehicle, allowing the graphics to set and conform properly to its surface.
Then, we removed the application tape from the car vinyl to professionally present the graphics, which were laminated to support easy cleaning and to protect the artwork from general damage or deterioration caused by weather conditions. These graphics were also fret-cut in the production of the car vinyl to allow for the detailed designs to be produced in the most reliable and timely manner possible. The result saw My Four Wheels receive a fantastically created car vinyl for their vehicle, to be proudly displayed on driving lessons and tests across the Hull and East Yorkshire area.
Active+
Active+ are a sports and events complex based in Hull, who were looking for us to produce a custom mesh banner for advertising their new 3G pitches. To provide this at a top-class standard, we printed off the agreed design through our inkjet printer, before hemming the banner edges to reinforce it against any tension, tears or damage that could be caused in storage, transport or by the weather when displayed. Following this, we added eyelets to the custom banner sign, to ensure it could be hung up on a railing or a fence using rope or zip ties for instance.
The adaptation of a mesh banner here makes the signage more weather resistant, ensuring transparency for wind and rain to pass through easily, especially compared to alternatives like a solid vinyl banner which may be more susceptible to damage in those conditions. This proves our versatility in providing excellent solutions tailored for our customer’s specific needs, supplying Active+ with a brilliant banner sign for their Hull complex.
NHS Whiteboards
Another project for our colleagues at NHS Sherwood Forest Hospitals, we were tasked to create these magnetic whiteboards with custom grid designs applied. For this job, we printed the necessary artworks onto vinyl before implementing them precisely to the whiteboard surfaces, providing a high-quality finish to ensure these custom visual solutions were completed without any problems. The result saw us create a unique set of magnetic whiteboards, ready for the hospital’s staff to use as required for various healthcare tasks.
American Golf
American Golf’s Hull store needed a set of custom branded presentation boxes to be produced ahead of Father’s Day. We began by printing out the chosen artwork onto corrugated e-flute through direct print, before cutting out the designs to shape with our CNC router. Then, we organised the boxes to be sent flatpack as per the customer’s specifications, allowing American Golf Hull to properly prepare for their Father’s Day event.
