Tell us about your role here at FASTSIGNS Manchester

I have been a Director of FASTSIGNS Manchester since the business opened back in 2010 and have recently become more involved supporting the business in defining and delivering our business’s Marketing Strategy. Day to day, I work closely with Marketing professionals to develop innovative and exciting ways to raise our brand awareness.

What do you like most about your role?

No two days are the same. I love the variety in my work, particularly when we try something new to promote our business. In addition, the team here at FASTSIGNS Manchester are 100% dedicated to providing the very best customer experience and it’s a delight to work alongside the team, seeing ideas develop over time that exceed customer expectations.

What are you passionate about and why?

Helping the team members with their personal development is my main passion. I love supporting the team to achieve their objectives and enjoy what they are doing. Outside of work my main passions are music and travel.

Tell us about your role here at FASTSIGNS Manchester

I opened FASTSIGNS Manchester in 2010 following a successful 20+ year career in Sales. Today, I work with the team to develop and implement Business Strategy and oversee all operations including Sales, Marketing, Production and Finance.

What do you like most about your role?

I feel very proud of what we, as a team have achieved. Opening FASTSIGNS Manchester in the depths of a recession was a huge challenge but we have proven that, over the years, we have a strong and resilient business with a focus on exceeding customer expectations. I love the fact that we are able to work in partnership with our customers to develop solutions that ‘wow’ them.

What are you passionate about and why?

I enjoy working closely with the team here at FASTSIGNS Manchester - we have a small, highly dedicated team who want to do their very best to make a difference in an industry that is highly competitive and isn’t well known for great customer service. Outside of work, I love traveling and like to get away from the Manchester weather as often as I can. I’m also a keen aviation enthusiast and obtained my private pilot’s licence back in 2005.

Tell us about your role here at FASTSIGNS Manchester

I joined FASTSIGNS Manchester in February 2019 as Business Development Manager and recently progressed to Head of Business Development and now lead all our sales activities and the Business Development team. Day to day, my role involves liaising with our existing customers and managing new enquiries. Ultimately, it’s my role to help our customers improve their brand awareness and drive increases in their sales through unique, eye-catching and innovative visual graphics and signage solutions.

What do you like most about your role?

The best thing about my role is the team that I get to work with. We are a small, work-family who are all laser focussed on providing the best customer experience and end product to our wide range of customers. I enjoy the huge variety of work in my role - no two jobs are the same and this keeps me on my toes. I also love managing larger projects that start from nothing, perhaps a very basic idea and then seeing them through to fruition. Illuminated signage is a personal favourite of mine!

What are you passionate about and why?

Outside of work I am very much a family man, the very proud father of three amazing boys. We are all football mad and you will ALWAYS find me on the touchline cheering on the boys at the weekend, come rain or shine. When I get the opportunity I am also a keen angler, a bit of a foodie and enjoy ruining a good walk with a round of golf from time to time.

Tell us about your role here at FASTSIGNS Manchester

As Office Manager, I’m the person behind the scenes making sure the 'engine' of FASTSIGNS

Manchester runs smoothly. My role is heavily process-driven; I manage the workflows, systems,

and administrative details that allow our creative and production teams to focus on what they do

best.

What do you like most about your role?

I find a lot of satisfaction in the organisation and efficiency required to keep things moving. I love

taking a complex project and breaking it down into a clear, manageable process. Because this

role is new and evolving, I have the freedom to be a problem-solver; every project brings a

different challenge, and there’s a real sense of achievement when we find a creative solution.

What are you passionate about and why?

My time outside of work is dedicated to my two little boys. They keep me incredibly busy, and

we’re always out and about doing things - whether it’s a day out at the zoo, exploring the

outdoors, or heading off on a new adventure together. I have a real passion for travelling and

experiencing new places, and I love sharing that sense of discovery with them. I’m also a

creative at heart; I love anything that involves design or making things. I find that my creative

side helps me look at office processes with a fresh perspective, finding new and better ways to

get things done.

Tell us about your role here at FASTSIGNS Manchester

I work across both design and production… creating signs for each customer’s specific needs. I work hard as part of the team so we collectively reap the benefits together.

What do you like most about your role?

The office environment, I feel it’s a good place to work and we support each other, to get the best out of everyone in the team. I feel we have a good balance and different characters in the office which allows us to have a good laugh and get our work done. I especially like our chippy dinners and hitting targets and being rewarded for that..

What are you passionate about and why?

I have many passions in life… the obvious of seeing friends and loved ones, but when I can I like to play golf and get out for walks and wild swims. But my main passion in life is watching football - Manchester United, home and away, all over Europe…Manchester is RED.

Tell us about your role here at FASTSIGNS Manchester

My role involves creating designs and preparing artwork that we receive for Production. I work hard to play my part in the team so we collectively meet deadlines and give the best customer experience possible.

What do you like most about your role?

I like that all designs are unique and that I work on something different everyday. I also like the office I work in as it’s comfortable and enables me to concentrate and produce good work. The team here is great - very supportive and encouraging which helps me develop in my role.

What are you passionate about and why?

My main passions are Design, Animation, Music and Video. I discover new things all the time within these subjects and they never fail to keep inspiring me. All in all I enjoy being creative in any form. It excites me to figure out how to create something that once confused me.

Tell us about your role here at FASTSIGNS Manchester

My role at FASTSIGNS Manchester is Production Manager and I have been with the company for over 10 years! My daily duties are to manage the day-to-day operations of Production and Design.

What do you like most about your role?

I like how varied my role is on a daily basis - no two days are the same. I love the environment I work in and being able to help my team members when called upon. We have a great (family feel) team here which gives everything to help each other to meet our goals.

What are you passionate about and why?

I am very passionate about making sure that our customers are happy and knowing they are receiving a high quality, bespoke product every time. I like to make sure that we can go above and beyond when needed to meet customers' tight deadlines and also, making the workplace a fun and friendly environment.
