Temporary Event Graphics for a Live Action Sports Environment

FASTSIGNS® Manchester supported Red Bull Company Ltd with the supply and installation of temporary branded graphics for a skateboarding event hosted at Graystone Action Sports.

The project focused on delivering strong brand visibility within a fast-paced, high-impact action sports environment, without permanently altering the venue.

The Brief:

As an existing FASTSIGNS® Manchester customer, Red Bull required temporary internal graphics to promote an upcoming skateboarding event.

The solution needed to be bold, on-brand, and highly visible throughout the skate park, while also being fully removable once the event period ended.

The graphics were required to remain in place for approximately five weeks and be installed with minimal disruption to the venue’s day-to-day operations.

The Challenge:

This was far from a standard flat-wall install. Key challenges included:

Awkward access within the skate park
Applying large-format graphics to a steeply sloped surface
Working safely within an active action sports environment
Completing the installation out of normal operating hours to ensure the park remained usable

Precision, planning, and the right materials were essential.

The Solution:

FASTSIGNS® Manchester supplied and installed a fully temporary graphics package tailored specifically for this type of environment.

The solution included:

Digitally printed internal graphics, custom cut to shape
Application across multiple internal surfaces throughout the skate park
Use of Metamark MD-100R removable digital vinyl, ideal for short-term promotions
A matt overlaminate finish to protect the prints and reduce glare under venue lighting

This material choice ensured the graphics delivered maximum visual impact during the event, while allowing for clean removal once the promotion ended.
