Custom Clothing Branded for Charity Challenge
The Challenge:
Nurture A Child is a Hull-based charity, which helps to promote and provide opportunities for children and young people, who may otherwise not gain those chances. The organisation aims to better the lives of young people via aspects such as education, business, sports, arts, culture and science.
Rel & Bam’s 5 Peaks Challenge is a hiking fundraiser, being completed by Rel and Bam across 5 iconic hikes in the UK. Including the likes of Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis, the mother-son duo are raising money for Nurture A Child, to help support the charity and children in care. The task for our FASTSIGNS Hull team was to produce some custom clothing solutions branded for Rel and Bam’s fantastic fundraiser, which would be suitable for tackling each peak. Check out how we produced these promotional products for the pair below!
The Solution:
Once given the go ahead for this custom clothes project, we started by producing the branding that would be applied to the garments, specifically for t-shirts and fleeces. Including the logos for ‘Nurture A Child’ and ‘Rel & Bam’s 5 Peaks Challenge,’ our production team printed and cut the relevant design to shape. This was done on a special heat transfer vinyl, which would allow us to appropriately apply the logos onto the clothes.
In this case, we received the t-shirts and fleeces from the customer, however we are also able to supply your branded clothing and promotional products in full for you!
Next, we used a heat press to effectively apply the vinyl designs onto the custom clothing. The use of special heat transfer material was vital, to ensure the vinyl properly adhered onto the fabric. This allowed us to carry out the production process for the printed clothing, without any shrinking or melting problems that would occur using normal vinyl material.
The Result:
This visual communication project saw us produce high-quality branded clothing for Rel & Bam’s 5 Peaks Challenge, providing various garments that can be worn throughout their fundraising campaign.
