New Shop Signage in Tunbridge Wells

The Challenge

Kensington Appliances were opening a new shop in Tunbridge Wells and needed a complete set of signage to give their new premises a strong, professional retail presence.

The project required a combination of permanent external signage, promotional signage and display solutions, all designed to work together and clearly identify the new appliance shop to passing customers.

The Solution

FASTSIGNS Tunbridge Wells handled the entire artwork and signage process, designing the graphics and producing a range of signage for the new Kensington Appliances location.

The main feature was a 7500mm x 1000mm ACM sign, produced in 3mm aluminium composite material with a printed MD5A finish and matt laminate. The large sign was manufactured as three panels, with the artwork carefully aligned across the joins to create the appearance of one continuous sign. Scaffolding was required for installation.

A 5300mm x 1200mm open banner was also produced and installed to the building using grommets and washers.

To increase visibility from outside the shop, we supplied a 3400mm feather flag on a spike, secured to the railing in front of the premises.

We also supplied and installed two lockable outdoor poster cases, one A0 and one A2, mounted directly to the building to provide Kensington Appliances with a secure way to display promotional material.

The Result

The completed signage gives Kensington Appliances a strong and professional presence at their new Tunbridge Wells location, combining large-scale shop signage with flexible promotional and display solutions.

The project was completed over two days. The main signage, feather flag and poster cases were installed during the first visit, while the banner was installed separately once the shop was officially open.

Although the installation itself was relatively straightforward, the timing required some careful juggling of jobs as the FASTSIGNS Tunbridge Wells team was particularly busy when the installation was needed. With careful planning, everything was completed around the customer's opening schedule.
