Revitalising TaxAssist: A Signage Rebrand Project


The Challenge

TaxAssist Accountants (TAA) are rolling out a rebrand over the next 12 months with FASTSIGNS as their official supplier. The storefront at Romford faced significant damage due to wind, resulting in the need for a complete signage overhaul.

One of the unique challenges of this project was the necessity to cover a roller shutter box. This required a thoughtful approach to seamlessly integrate the signage elements while ensuring functionality and aesthetic appeal.

The Solution

Before proceeding, we conducted a thorough site survey to assess the existing conditions and determine the most effective strategy for the rebrand. We approached the project with meticulous attention to detail as we wanted to avoid making the same mistakes as the previous signage company, leaving the sign susceptible to damage from the wind and perched in front of the roller shutter.

Leveraging our expertise and access to TAA's brand guidelines, we crafted bespoke signage solutions to meet their specific requirements. This included a deep powder-coated aluminium sign tray to cover the shutterbox, matching trough light, and an aluminium projecting sign, all designed to withstand the elements and enhance brand visibility.

Vinyl played a crucial role in the rebranding efforts, with precision-cut graphics adorning the tray, windows, and wall plaque. The wall plaque is ACM with printed vinyl to match the power-coated tray. This ensured consistency and coherence in brand messaging while maximising visual impact.

The Result

Despite the challenges posed by the wind damage and roller shutter, our team successfully integrated the new signage elements with precision and finesse. The result was a cohesive and visually striking storefront that effectively communicated the TaxAssist brand identity.
