All in all, the enhanced visual identity of The Prestige Country Parks Group has elevated the position the Group holds in the luxury lodge park marketplace.
The Challenge:
Prestige Country Park Group operates five luxury lodge parks across northern England. Having experienced rapid growth, driven by the ‘Staycation Boom’ post-COVID-19 pandemic, coupled with extensive acquisitions and investment, the group had fragmented branding across their sites. They now required FASTSIGNS® expertise to create a cohesive brand presence across their sites, hoping to appeal to holiday rental guests and high net-worth investors, while also maintaining a sense of continuity for their existing clientele amid the change.
The Solution:
FASTSIGNS® embarked on a consultative journey with Prestige Country Parks’ owners, conducting multiple meetings and site visits to grasp their vision. Several brand identity proposals were developed, focusing on colours, fonts and imagery that reflected the group's high-end market position. Once the overarching brand identity was approved, the strategy allowed for slight customisations in corporate colours and imagery at individual parks, preserving their unique identities while maintaining brand consistency.
The Group initially started by rebranding its Allerthorpe Headquarters location, focusing on developing it from an outdated golf club and static caravan park to a picturesque, luxurious and modern lodge destination with five-star facilities. FASTSIGNS® provided signage that raised awareness of the changes happening on the site, including updating entrance signage with new sleek post and panel signage, effective wayfinding signage, high-level flags and promotional banners detailing holiday rentals and lodges for sale.
Also, when the opportunity arose for the Group to install a ‘Show Lodge’ at the prestigious McArthurGlen Designer Outlet near York, FASTSIGNS® reacted swiftly and helped them ensure they had all the signs, graphics, promotional flags and banners required to give the Show Lodge maximum impact.
Meanwhile, at their newest site, Galtres Retreat & Lodge Park – home to Europe’s largest indoor lodge showroom - FASTSIGNS® made use of the vast ceiling area by installing a couple of three metre square hanging blimp signs. These impressive installations created a significant branding and advertising opportunity - without detracting from the floor space required to promote the lodges available for sale. FASTSIGNS® also provided window graphics, lamppost flags, banners, pavement signs, acrylic signs and even leaflets that detailed information about this newest park’s facilities.
Other exterior signage used across the Group includes post and panel maps depicting clear details of each site – great not only for wayfinding for guests but also as an essential part of the Health & Safety signage required to assist the emergency services.
Site and company vehicles also benefited from branding treatment with vehicle graphics positioned in prominent positions on their bodywork. FASTSIGNS® also supported seasonal activity, creating a themed Santa's Grotto, which was a highlight for the site’s younger (and some not-so-young!) guests.
The Result:
Across the Group, sales have soared and signage has played a significant role in this achievement: a notable instance involved a promotional banner leading directly to the sale of a £150,000 lodge.
