DATA WE COLLECT

We use your personal data when you visit our profiles on these social media networks, or when you click on the like button on one of our social media advertisements. When you visit our profiles, your personal data is not only used by us but also by the social network provider, regardless of whether you have a profile in the social network or not. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

In addition to the uses described above, we may also use your data in the following ways:

  1. Respond to Requests. We may process your personal data when you contact us, such as with questions, concerns, feedback, disputes, or issues, to respond to your request or provide the information requested by you. Without your personal data, we cannot respond to you or ensure your continued use and enjoyment of our Site.

  2. Ensure the Security of the Service. We are committed to ensuring your safety and continued enjoyment of our Site. We utilise industry-standard SSL technology to allow for the encryption of all franchisee applications submitted on a FASTSIGNS website. However, since no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, we cannot guarantee that loss, misuse, unauthorised acquisition, or alteration of your data will not occur. Please recognise that you play a vital role in protecting your personal data.

Furthermore, we cannot ensure or warrant the security or confidentiality of the information you transmit to us or receive from us by Internet or wireless connection, including email, phone, or SMS, since we have no way of protecting that information once it leaves and until it reaches us. RETENTION

  • The email address for marketing purposes is retained on an ongoing basis until you unsubscribe.

INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS OF PERSONAL DATA

As a global organisation, we may transfer your personal data to countries outside the United Kingdom. When we transfer your personal data to countries outside the United Kingdom, including when we share your information with FASTSIGNS UK offices, where required by law, we will ensure that at least one of the following appropriate guarantees have been implemented:

YOUR RIGHTS IN RELATION TO YOUR DATA

There are instances where applicable laws or regulatory requirements allow or require us to refuse to provide or delete some or all of the personal information that you have asked to be provided or deleted.

We will only contact individuals by electronic means (including email or SMS) based on our legitimate interests, as permitted by applicable law, or the individual’s consent. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Our Services are not intended for anyone under the age of 16 (“children”). We do not target or knowingly collect personal data from children. FASTSIGNS recognises the privacy interests of children, and we encourage parents and guardians to take an active role in their children's online activities and interests. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child without verification of parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information from our servers.

DO NOT TRACK DISCLOSURES

“Do Not Track” is a privacy preference that users can set in their web browsers. When a user turns on a Do Not Track signal in their browser, the browser sends a message to websites requesting that they do not track the user. For information about Do Not Track, please visit www.allaboutdnt.org. At this time, we do not respond to Do Not Track browser settings or signals. In addition, we use other technology that is standard to the internet, such as pixel tags, web beacons, and other similar technologies, to track visitors to the website. Those tools may be used by us and by third parties to collect information about you and your internet activity, even if you have turned on the Do Not Track signal.
